Punit Garg, President & CEO of Reliance Globalcom, has been the driving force behind Reliance Globalcom's strategic acquisitions of telecom services companies like Vanco, eWave World and Yipes and successfully transformed Reliance Globalcom into a global telecom powerhouse.
Punit Garg was appointed president of Reliance Globalcom (formerly flag telecom) in January 2006.Prior to this appointment; he served as President, International Business, Reliance Communications. He has also held a number of other key leadership positions during his career in Reliance Communications, where he led the planning and launch of fixed wireless phones, public call office and broadband.
Before joining Reliance Communications, Punit Garg was the Managing Director, Lockheed Martin Global Telecom, responsible for Joint Ventures and Business Management for the South Asia region. He also has significant experience as a senior executive in leading global organizations including COMSAT, Jet Airways and Equant (formerly SITA).
Mr. Garg has a bachelor's degree in engineering.
Michael P Sauer
President, Global Voice Business
Michael Sauer the Head of Global Voice Business at Reliance Globalcom. Prior to that, Mr. Sauer was employed by MCI, where he was Senior Vice President of International Relations and Carrier Services since 1993. While at MCI, he was responsible for directing MCI’s global activities, worldwide correspondent services and business development, including MCI’s relationship with over 225 international telecommunication companies.
Michael Sauer has more than 25 years of international telecommunication experience and is one of the industry’s leading experts in international product and service contract negotiations. He began his telecommunication career at ITT in 1981.
Michael Sauer has graduated from the Rutgers University in 1978 with a B.A. in Economics.
Peter Langkilde
President, Reliance WiMax World
Mr. Peter Langkilde is President of Reliance WiMAX World.
Previously, he has worked in senior executive roles in major international mobile operators for more than 15 years; Leap Wireless International (Chief Executive Officer of Russia), Millicom (Senior Vice President - Operations), and BellSouth (VP - Corporate Development).
Additionally, Mr. Langkilde was the founder and President of End2End, a mobile data infrastructure provider, which serves the largest mobile operators globally. Mr. Langkilde is the Chairman of FRiENDi GROUP, the first MVNO to launch service in Oman and several other countries in the Middle East.
He graduated from Aalborg University in 1988 with a Master of Science in International Business Administration.
Mandeep Bhatia
Ex.Sr. Vice President, National Long Distance Business
Mandeep Bhatia was appointed the Executive Senior Vice President of National Long Distance (NLD) Business in September 2008.
Mandeep Bhatia has over 16 years of work experience in total out of which, 11 years is in the telecom domain in varied leadership roles.
He has successfully managed highly dense and major telecom circles in India while working with Bharti Airtel previously. He was also responsible for successful service launch strategies, brand launches and business models in his previous assignments.
Before joining Reliance, Mandeep has worked with Bharti Airtel, Spice Telecom and Voltas.
Mandeep has done his MBA from Punjab University and also holds a B.E. degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Harsh Malhotra
Chief Commercial and Legal Officer
Harsh Malhotra was appointed Reliance Globalcom's (formerly FLAG Telecom) Chief Commercial and Legal Officer in 2006. Prior to this appointment, he served as Vice President of Commercial Management and Head of Commercial, International Business, Reliance Infocomm Ltd. Harsh Malhotra continues to be member of the Senior Management Team of International Business, Reliance Infocomm.
Before joining Reliance, Harsh Malhotra was AVP of ILF&S, a major financial institution, responsible for providing funding and advisory services to telecom companies in India.
He has more than 20 years of experience in industry and has been associated with the telecommunications business since the commencement of liberalization of the telecoms industry in India in 1995.
Harsh Malhotra has a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and professional degree in Cost and Management Accountancy.
